IQC Quality Control Technician

📋 Description

• Perform dimensional inspections on incoming parts to support Product Control Plans and input
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and GD&T symbols to verify parts conform to specification
• Apply AQL-based sampling guidelines to determine inspection lot sizes
• Identify and escalate nonconforming material, providing clear preliminary problem description for
• Maintain clean, organized inspection environments in receiving area, metrology lab, and production
• Flag changes or concerning variations in incoming parts or supplier processes

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years experience in heavy manufacturing assembly or quality inspection
• Experience using industry standard metrology tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges
• Working knowledge of GD&T rules and ability to read GD&T symbols on mechanical drawings
• Familiarity with AQL-based sampling plans
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills, with ability to clearly document and escalate
