Iron Worker (Construction)

📋 Description

• Erect structural steel for supercomputer halls, mechanical plants, substations, cooling yards, and
• Install miscellaneous metals: stairs, ladders, platforms, catwalks, grating, handrail, embeds, and
• Fabricate and install pipe racks, aerial galleries, mezzanines, and support steel for chilled-water
• Rig, hoist, and set structural members and heavy equipment-support steel using cranes, come-alongs
• Bolt, torque, weld, and plumb connections to drawings, AISC and AWS standards, and inspection
• Read structural drawings, erection plans, and shop drawings; lay out from control, check elevations

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of ironworking experience on commercial, industrial, or heavy-civil structural steel, or
• Ability to read structural and erection drawings and work to AISC connection details.
• Hands-on proficiency with structural bolt-up, cutting, and safe use of aerial lifts, ladders, and
• Willingness to work at heights, outdoors, and on a changing construction site.
• Strong safety mindset with current OSHA 10 or equivalent training.
• Willingness to work extended hours, nights, and weekends during critical construction windows.
