IT Ops Engineer

📋 Description

• Work the shared IT support queue alongside the team, helping Discordians with their day-to-day
• Support the full employee technology surface hands-on: device and endpoint setup (Jamf, Intune)
• Keep the conferencing and AV rooms reliable, and be hands on deck to support live events. You keep
• Run onboarding and offboarding so a new Discordian is equipped on day one and deprovisioned on exit.
• Take on well-scoped projects with growing autonomy, and start turning the repetitive manual work
• Participate in on-call rotations.

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on exposure across several parts of that surface, the more of it you have touched, the
• A genuine automation instinct, even if early: you reach for automation before a runbook, and you
• Strong troubleshooting instincts and a habit of understanding the system, not just clearing the
• A collaborative, low-ego, secure-by-design posture, clear written communication, and eagerness to
• 3+ years of experience providing IT Helpdesk support and exposure to managing backend IT systems
