📋 Description

• Review, translate, localize, fact-check, and adapt sports-related content, primarily focused on
• Ensure localized content follows applicable writing style guides, linguistic guidelines
• Conduct market-specific research into Japanese content trends, terminology, audience preferences
• Assess content for linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, readability, tone, and consistency.
• Provide constructive feedback on written content and identify opportunities to improve localization
• Support quality-control activities across multimedia and other sports-related content formats.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and/or at least 2 years of professional experience in linguistics, translation
• Extensive knowledge of sports, particularly football, including relevant terminology, competitions
• Experience with translation and localization of multimedia content; experience with machine
• Native-level fluency in Japanese with excellent grammar, writing, proofreading, and editing
• Excellent written English skills and the ability to understand source content accurately.
• Strong creative writing and editorial skills, with the ability to adapt voice and style for
