Jr. Accounting Associate

📋 Description

• Assist client onboarding for assigned engagements following procedures.
• Assist AP/AR, bookkeeping, monthly close, and financial reports; payroll as needed.
• Prepare depreciation schedules, sales journals, and sales tax returns; review payroll.
• Support regular audits to ensure accuracy of financial documents and investments.
• Assist with revenue forecasting and profit margin analysis.
• Support general ledger reconciliation and manage AP/AR.
• Prepare and file corporate and individual tax returns (e.g., 1099s).
• Assist with researching complex tax issues to identify solutions.
• Assist with research projects and preparation of financial reports as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in accounting, finance, economics, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Entry-level role; candidates with up to 2 years’ experience ideal.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; interviews in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Eager to learn US accounting systems; US GAAP knowledge a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with data analysis and reporting.
