Junior Accountant - US Remote

📋 Description

• Accurately process and apply customer payments across multiple companies and bank accounts
• Research and resolve unidentified receipts, unapplied cash, payment discrepancies, and posting
• Prepare and enter journal entries into NetSuite, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
• Generate and assist with monthly and ad hoc financial reports using NetSuite to support accounting
• Review and research outstanding customer credits and discrepancies on accounts receivable (AR)
• Manage and coordinate the escheatment process, including researching outstanding balances

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Previous experience with accounts receivable, cash applications, journal entries, or account
• Experience with NetSuite is preferred but not required.
