Junior Metallurgist - Mineral Processing

📋 Description

• Assist Technicians, Technologists, Metallurgists, Senior Metallurgists, and Project Managers in
• Participate in large scale pilot plants and interpreting results under the supervision of a Senior
• Exposure to the technical groups of Mineral Processing (Grinding, Flotation), Gold Processing and
• Aid in drafting and preparing portions of reports that are ultimately provided to clients.
• Assist Metallurgists and Project Managers with the management of small projects of variable scope
• Support in compiling and analyzing metallurgical data.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor University degree in Chemical Engineering, Mineral Processing, Hydrometallurgy, Mining
• Up to 3 years of previous working experience in a minerals related field or an equivalent
• Previous experience in mineral processing, hydro metallurgy and gold metallurgy, including
• Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
• Candidates must be proficient in using various type of computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.
