Junior Software Engineer, Elixir

📋 Description

• Design, build and maintain APIs, services, and systems across Telnyx's engineering teams.
• Debug production issues across gateway, auth, network, and application layers.
• Collaborate with engineers to build new features at scale, internal and external.
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, observability and reliability.

🎯 Requirements

• 1-2 years of professional software development experience in OO or FP languages; Elixir preferred
• Strong interest in functional programming; eager to become Elixir expert
• Confident decision making: move fast or optimize for the long term
• Experience with relational databases at scale
• Understand concurrent and distributed programming
• Deep knowledge of microservices architecture patterns
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Consul, Prometheus, Grafana and/or RabbitMQ
• Team player who prioritizes the team's success
