Knitwear Designer

📋 Description

• Conduct seasonal knitwear research with the design team.
• Lead yarn research and selection; source innovative materials and techniques.
• Design and develop knitwear for the Women's RTW collection.
• Produce technical packs, specs and CADs; record edits after fittings.
• Lead fit sessions and PPS fittings; ensure design intent and quality.
• Travel to suppliers and mills to support development.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Knitwear Design with a strong portfolio.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in luxury fashion knitwear.
• Strong expertise in yarn development, knit techniques, stitch development, garment construction and finishing.
• Excellent CAD skills; Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Experience producing technical packs, specs and supplier documentation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration; able to work in a busy studio.
