📋 Description

• Lead UK regulatory and financial crime workstreams for licensing.
• Advise on UK regulatory requirements, governance, and controls.
• Build UK compliance framework: AML, sanctions, and financial crime.
• Lead regulatory readiness: policies, governance, risk, monitoring, reporting.
• Engage regulators and external advisors on licensing and submissions.
• MLRO/Compliance Officer for UK entity (pending approval).

🎯 Requirements

• Significant senior compliance and financial crime experience within UK regulated financial services.
• Strong FCA expectations knowledge, UK AML/sanctions obligations, and governance.
• Prior SMF16/SMF17 or equivalent senior regulatory responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree required; LLB strongly preferred.
• Experience leading regulatory authorisations, licensing, or setup.
• Practical, commercially-minded operator who can build from scratch and execute hands-on.
