Lab Engineer

📋 Description

• Support prototype builds, testing, debugging, and lab operations in Zurich.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair prototype hardware
• Perform mechanical assembly, soldering, wiring, and basic debugging.
• Write or modify simple scripts and config files for bring-up and testing.
• Regularly travel to California HQ to support builds and knowledge transfer.
• Periodically travel to Finland for camera tests with the local engineering team.

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience with drones, robotics, or electromechanical hardware.
• Comfort working across mechanical, electrical, software and testing domains.
• Electrical skills including surface mount soldering, wiring, and basic debugging.
• Software skills: scripting, modifying tests, reading logs, and tuning parameters.
• Strong troubleshooting and ability to progress on ambiguous issues.
• Based in Switzerland with travel up to 40-50% (to CA and Finland).
