Lab Safety Coordinator

📋 Description

• Conduct routine laboratory safety inspections.
• Monitor hazardous chemical management system as per applicable legal & other requirements.
• Abide to laboratory-specific safety procedures as applicable.
• Ensure that Incident Investigation is in place across laboratories and the availability of
• Monitor & coordinate potential emergency preparedness response within the scope of laboratory
• Provide laboratory safety training, inductions, and refresher programs for employees, students

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety/ Chemistry/ Microbiology/
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in laboratory safety, HSE, or regulated laboratory environments.
• Preferred knowledge of laboratory safety regulations, chemical safety, biosafety, compressed gas
• Working knowledge of ISO standards such as ISO 45001 and relevant local regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with MSDS/SDS management, chemical compatibility, and emergency spill response.
• Professional certifications in Laboratory Safety, HSE, or related fields (preferred).
