Lab Services Technician II

📋 Description

• Deliver sequencing and probe projects on time to QC and client standards
• Follow work instructions to design, synthesize, and validate probes and libraries
• Collaborate with Project Management and other teams to meet project goals
• Log samples in LIMS and update tracking databases
• Prepare DNA, ensure size/concentration for library prep
• Build barcoded libraries using methods like end-repair, A-tailing, and tagmentation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in life sciences or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years lab experience in molecular biology or NGS library prep
• Experience in nucleic acid extraction, PCR, or related methods
• Experience in high-throughput sequencing labs
• Cross-functional team experience; SOP/written procedures adept
• MS Office proficiency; strong teamwork in a matrixed environment
