Lab Technician (Electronic Hardware)

📋 Description

• Keep Graphcore's Bristol electronics laboratories operational, safe, and ready for engineering work
• Support the facilities, equipment, procedures, and practical setups that enable hardware teams to
• Support test benches, equipment configuration, board modifications, cable work, and safe working
• Develop standard operating procedures that help multidisciplinary teams work consistently
• Take ownership of lab readiness, respond quickly, and help teams keep moving
• Support others through guidance and mentoring

🎯 Requirements

• Experience working in an electronics lab environment
• Strong understanding of electronic test equipment, including setup, calibration and troubleshooting
• Good knowledge of ESD prevention, health and safety, and safe laboratory working practices
• Experience repairing and modifying PCB assemblies to IPC-7711/21 and J-STD-001 standards
• Experience with cable and wire harness assemblies to drawings and IPC-620 standards, plus IPC-A-610
• A pragmatic, hands-on approach, with clear communication and the ability to mentor junior team
