Laboratory Analyst II (Metals/ICP)

📋 Description

• Prepares and analyzes environmental samples using standard and complex testing according to
• Validates and reviews data for accuracy through Level I reviews
• Uploads laboratory data into LIMS system to generate data packages for clients
• Operates, calibrates, and maintains laboratory instruments
• Performs batching, prepping samples, making reagents, aliquoting samples, and preparing standards
• Maintains logbooks and monitors refrigerator temperatures

🎯 Requirements

• BS or BA in chemistry or related field (3 years lab experience may substitute)
• Minimum 2 years experience in routine and complex lab procedures, preferably production environment
• 2+ years in environmental or analytical lab with hands-on ICP-MS and ICP-OES experience (EPA
• Experience with sample digestion and TNI/NELAC QC requirements
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship
• Professional working proficiency in English (read, write, speak)
