Laboratory Analyst II (Metals/ICP)

📋 Description

• Performs laboratory procedures requiring knowledge of scientific methods and testing procedures
• Batching and prepping samples for analysis
• Making reagents for sample analysis
• Aliquoting extracted samples to maximize productivity
• Preparing appropriate standards
• Determining appropriate routine and complex analysis methods for organic and inorganic samples

🎯 Requirements

• BS or BA in chemistry or related field (3 years lab experience may substitute for degree)
• Minimum 2 years' experience in routine and complex laboratory procedures and instruments
• 2+ years in environmental or analytical lab with hands-on ICP-MS and ICP-OES experience (EPA
• Previous production-oriented work helpful (awareness and ability to meet deadlines)
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Professional working proficiency in English
