Laboratory Assistant/Technician – Sample Preparation – Overnight role

📋 Description

• Receive and sort soil and water samples
• Assign tests in accordance with the LIMS database
• Prepare batch sheets in Microsoft Excel
• Weigh samples and transfer subsamples to appropriate departments
• Extract analytes from water/soil samples as directed
• Perform quality control tests

🎯 Requirements

• Good understanding of chemistry and mathematics (Year 12)
• Science-related degree is beneficial
• Previous experience in a laboratory environment is beneficial
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Desire to learn and improve
