Laboratory Director (ABMG)

📋 Description

• Ensure accurate and timely results for patients.
• Oversee and review genetic data in patient care.
• Provide clinical and technical support for Early Cancer Detection testing.
• Set standards for laboratory testing and analytic performance.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and laboratory standards.
• Document findings and maintain accurate records.

🎯 Requirements

• MD/DO or PhD in genetics or related field.
• ABMGG board-certified in Clinical Cytogenetics or Molecular Genetics; ABP in Molecular Genetic Pathology.
• CA laboratory director license as Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist or Cytogeneticist.
• NYS CLEP Qualification in Genetic Testing.
• 5+ years in a CLIA-certified clinical lab; genomics data experience; management.
• Knowledge of CAP/CLIA/CA/NY regulations; leadership experience.
