Laboratory Team Leader

📋 Description

• Lead and supervise a team of 5-15 laboratory personnel.
• Support operational planning, resource allocation, and workload management.
• Investigate non-conformances, complaints, quality issues, and incidents.
• Coordinate staffing, work rota, holidays, and workload allocation.
• Conduct probation and performance reviews, and return-to-work meetings.
• Support recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and induction activities.

🎯 Requirements

• Science qualification or relevant laboratory experience.
• Understanding of laboratory operations, quality systems, and investigations.
• Laboratory experience with workload coordination and coaching.
• MS Office and laboratory systems proficiency.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Desirable: ISO 17025, UKAS requirements, and food microbiology knowledge.
