Laboratory Technician

📋 Description

• Preparing and analysing environmental samples, including water, soil, waste, and oil & gas
• Operating laboratory instrumentation and carrying out testing in line with recognised industry
• Recording and reviewing results using our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Delivering high-quality, accurate data within customer deadlines.
• Performing quality control checks and assisting with investigations when results fall outside
• Supporting the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.

🎯 Requirements

• An interest in science, chemistry, environmental testing, or laboratory operations.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to accurately prepare, measure, and analyse samples.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Confidence using computer systems and entering data accurately.
• A flexible attitude and the ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced laboratory
