Laboratory Technician

📋 Description

• Understanding of the processes in the preparation and analysis of samples by AAS and ICP
• Day to day upkeep of analytical and sample preparation equipment
• Delivery of quality samples to both internal and external customers
• Understanding of assay methods and recognition of sample types
• All functions to be performed in correct numerical order, while adopting QC requirements and
• Expected to complete QC and process paperwork adequately

🎯 Requirements

• Previous laboratory experience preferred
• Current First Aid Certificate desirable
• Current drivers licence
• Physically fit due to required tasks
• Meet site access requirements (ie: training, induction and medical requirements)
