Laboratory Technician

📋 Description

• Perform laboratory tests and analyses under direction
• Examine samples for validity and requirements
• Perform sample preparation including specimen pipetting
• Operate, calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment
• Perform reagents and materials preparation
• Maintain inventory of supplies and reagents

🎯 Requirements

• BS or BA in Biological, Physical, or Chemical Science
• OR BS or BA in related science with 16 hours Biology, 16 hours Chemistry, 3 hours Math
• 1 year data entry experience preferred
• Previous clinical laboratory experience preferred
• Experience with infectious blood/body fluids preferred
• Able to work with automated and manual platforms
