Laboratory Technician

📋 Description

• Conduct analysis of samples using ICP-OES and ICP-MS instrumentation
• Perform sample dilutions, prepare calibration standards, and complete testing activities
• Complete daily pre-start checks and support equipment upkeep
• Transfer analytical results into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and logbooks
• Complete quality control checks and related documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Experience working in a laboratory environment, preferably with ICP-OES and/or ICP-MS
• An understanding of analytical testing processes and quality control requirements
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate results
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
