Laboratory Technician

📋 Description

• Performing laboratory tests and analyses under the direction of a lab supervisor or scientist
• Specimen management, specimen pipetting, and specimen storage
• Instrument operation, calibration, and maintenance according to SOPs
• Data entry into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
• Reagents and materials preparation for testing
• Maintaining adequate inventory of supplies, reagents, and materials

🎯 Requirements

• BS or BA in Biological, Physical, or Chemical Science
• OR BS or BA degree in related science fields with 16 hours in Biology, 16 hours in Chemistry, and 3
• Minimum 1 year data entry experience preferred
• Previous clinical laboratory experience preferred
• Experience or formal training in working with potentially infectious human blood bodily fluids
• Ability to work with automated and manual platforms
