Laboratory Technician

📋 Description

• Perform laboratory tests and analyses under the direction of a lab supervisor or scientist
• Examine samples for validity and other requirements (sample type, volume, etc.)
• Perform sample preparation steps including specimen pipetting with high accuracy and precision
• Operate, calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments according to standard
• Prepare reagents and materials for testing
• Maintain adequate inventory of supplies, reagents and materials

🎯 Requirements

• BS or BA in Biological, Physical, or Chemical Science OR BS or BA in related science fields with 16
• Minimum 1 year data entry experience preferred
• Previous clinical laboratory experience preferred
• Experience or formal training in working with potentially infectious human blood/body fluids
• Ability to work with automated and manual platforms
• Skills required for aseptic techniques
