Laboratory Technician - Contract

📋 Description

• Perform and monitor testing and inspection activities of the SGS Industrial laboratory
• Maintain and record equipment calibrations
• Preparation of standards/reagents as required
• Assist with in-house training, state-of-art instrument commissioning, ensuring proper operation and
• Good housekeeping and equipment maintenance skills maintaining lab integrity
• Maintains all lab protocol, follows procedures with accuracy of data

🎯 Requirements

• Diploma or certificate in a science related field
• One year of related experience or completion of University or College in a related field
• Background in science and chemistry is desirable
• Experience in analytical laboratory is a strong asset
• Physically fit to lift 20 kg pails on a daily basis
• Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate and timely manner
