Laboratory Technologist I

📋 Description

• Perform laboratory tests following prescribed procedures across specialties
• Calculate and accurately record test results
• Operate, calibrate, maintain, and perform checks on laboratory equipment
• Troubleshoot basic analyzer malfunctions and notify management when needed
• Prepare reagents and media per established procedures
• Evaluate reagents, media, and calibrators using defined criteria

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical science, physical science, biological/clinical laboratory science
• Must meet state-specific licensing/certification requirements where required (California: Licensed
• No prior transplant testing experience required
• Knowledge of medical technology principles, methods, and techniques
• Knowledge of chemistry, biology, and bacteriology fundamentals
• Knowledge of recent developments in medical technology
