Large Loss Claims Handler

📋 Description

• Managing a portfolio of high value motor claims typically valued between £500k through to £5
• Communicate effectively with customers, witnesses, insurers, repairers, solicitors, and medical
• Serve as a technical expert within the team, offering guidance and support in large loss scenarios
• Work with the Motor Major Loss Manager and our Head of TP & Complex Claims on Claims strategy
• Motivate and develop more junior team members by sharing your knowledge and expertise
• Maintain Reinsurer and carrier relationships through timely and accurate updates

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in managing high value motor bodily injury claims with a current handling
• Deep knowledge of liability, indemnity, causation, reserving, future losses, the Ogden Discount
• Experience handling litigated claims and applying relevant procedures and frameworks including CPR
• A passion for a career in Large Loss and a desire to help shape a growing large loss function
