LATAM Public Policy Associate

📋 Description

• Monitor legislative, regulatory, and political developments relevant to OpenAI in Brazil, and
• Draft policy research, briefing notes, talking points, presentations, and correspondence for
• Support Brazil stakeholder engagement with government, regulators, civil society, academia, and
• Coordinate selected public policy programs and initiatives across Latin America, maintaining
• Provide research and general support on regional policy questions, consolidating country-team input

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in public policy, government relations, policy research, or a related field
• Familiarity with Brazilian institutions and legislative and regulatory processes, and an interest
• Experience preparing clear research, briefings, and written materials for different audiences
• Experience coordinating projects or programs involving multiple stakeholders, with the ability to
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English
• Spanish proficiency is a plus
