Launch Engineer, Falcon Engineering

📋 Description

• Process Falcon 9 flight vehicles for rapid, reliable reuse and launch.
• Develop and execute checkout and integration procedures for rockets and GSE.
• Lead hands-on assembly, integration, and testing of vehicle assemblies.
• Lead on-site operations with cross-department teams to resolve test issues.
• Direct daily work of skilled field technicians.
• Design tools and hardware to enable vehicle assembly and testing.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• 1+ years hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and/or fluid systems.
• Advanced degree in mechatronics, mechanical, aerospace, electrical, or computer engineering.
• 3+ years designing, building, integrating, and testing complex multi-disciplinary systems.
• Flight hardware avionics experience.
• Strong communication and ability to work in fast-paced startup atmosphere.
