Lawyer (Global Licensing)

📋 Description

• Define and implement a global licensing roadmap across EU, LatAm, Africa, S Asia, HK.
• Prepare and submit license applications; manage regulator communications.
• Coordinate with external counsel, consultants, and regulators.
• Ensure regulatory frameworks are embedded in product and operations.
• Track global regulatory developments; advise on market entry.
• Draft and maintain licensing policies and regulatory reports.
• Represent Coins.ph in regulatory discussions and industry groups.

🎯 Requirements

• LL.B. or equivalent required.
• 5+ years post-qualification legal experience; 3+ years in fintech/payments/crypto.
• Proven track record securing financial/payment licenses in EU, LatAm, Africa, S Asia, or HK.
• Deep knowledge of payments regs, AML/CFT, e-money licensing, and crypto frameworks.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management with regulators and external counsel.
• Excellent English drafting; Chinese language skills a plus.
• Ability to work across time zones and manage multiple licensing projects.
