Lead Accountant

📋 Description

• Prepare journal entries and monthly reconciliations
• Analyze financial results through monthly close processes
• Summarize findings and present recommendations to leadership
• Prepare and maintain documentation to support SOX and audits
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation
• Identify process improvements or automation opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
• 3+ years accounting experience with mentorship of junior team members
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Ownership, initiative and solution-oriented mindset
• Organized and able to meet tight deadlines and prioritize
• Strong communication with multiple stakeholders
