Lead Agentic Software Engineer, Connected Devices

📋 Description

• Write, review, and ship production code for client platforms (iOS, Android, Electron/Angular).
• Use AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality.
• Design end-to-end features from spec to shipped experience with Product and UX.
• Ensure secure, reliable communication with Cricut hardware over Bluetooth, BLE, USB, and Wi-Fi.
• Improve application performance and optimize startup time, memory, and network use.
• Drive CI/CD automation and release processes for app stores and desktop distribution.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/Software Eng or related field.
• 8+ years in client/frontend development with deep expertise in iOS, Android, or Electron/Angular.
• Strong device connectivity expertise: Bluetooth Classic, BLE (GATT), USB, Wi‑Fi provisioning
• Experience with embedded hardware integration, OTA updates, and telemetry.
• Hands-on use of AI engineering tools and integrating AI/LLM capabilities where relevant.
• Proficiency in Swift, Kotlin, or TypeScript; native UI frameworks (SwiftUI/UIKit, Jetpack Compose
