Lead, Avionics Hardware Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead a portion of the Avionics Hardware team developing custom electronics for Terran R.
• Oversee design, bring-up, verification, qualification, and flight production.
• Collaborate with propulsion, GNC, fluids, and stage teams for integration.
• Provide technical mentorship and foster a high-performance culture.
• Own components and architecture decisions for avionics systems.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years in electronics design for harsh environments and mission-critical apps
• Experience leading engineers in best-practices and domain-specific principles
• Experience driving rigorous processes: requirements, design reviews, verification
• Experience overseeing avionics system design and on-time, within-budget delivery
• Cross-functional with mechanical, thermal, software teams; embedded software a plus
