Lead Biochemist – Quality Control

📋 Description

• Perform bioassays, cell passages, media/buffer prep, equipment calibrations, and sanitization
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization
• Enter and verify data, review qualification protocols and logbook entries, and perform
• Support deviation investigations and change controls
• Troubleshoot instrument-related issues and act as technical resource for equipment
• Interact with customers, vendors, and support groups to resolve qualification and operational issues

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in physical sciences (e.g., chemistry, physics) or related field
• 4+ years of relevant lab experience (bioassays, cell passages, media/buffer prep)
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without restriction or need for sponsorship
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Ability to learn new techniques, troubleshoot instruments, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience with equipment qualification, maintenance, and documentation
