Lead Cloud Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Architect, manage, and scale enterprise Kubernetes (EKS/GKE) for high availability.
• Oversee automated platform optimization with scalable resource management.
• Automate workload sizing, placement, and Karpenter defaults.
• Collaborate with Eng/DevOps/FinOps/Finance to drive cost avoidance.
• Design and maintain CI/CD, IaC, and observability for Kubernetes.
• Mentor engineers; lead resilience, security, and ops initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience as a Platform/Cloud Engineer or SRE managing Kubernetes (EKS/GKE) at enterprise scale.
• Hands-on with intelligent resource automation platforms (e.g., ScaleOps) and Karpenter.
• Strong FinOps principles and cost avoidance in cloud-native environments.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, OpenTofu) and configuration management.
• Deep expertise in AWS/GCP cloud services, containerization, and large compute footprints.
• Excellent cross-functional communication aligning technical objectives with business goals.
