Lead Data Platform Engineer (German Speaker)

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end data platform from ingress to reporting.
• Manage long-term production operation and evolution post-migration.
• Improve observability, data quality controls and operational safeguards.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in Data Engineering, Data Platform, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong Go (Golang) proficiency for backend systems.
• Hands-on with GCP: Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage.
• SQL and analytical data modeling; familiarity with SQLMesh/dbt-style tools.
• Terraform/IaC, CI/CD, and Docker-based deployments.
• Fluent German (C1) with good English for technical docs.
