📋 Description

  • Lead design and validation of advanced mission behaviors for prototype vehicles
  • Support rapid prototyping end-to-end from concept to hardware-in-the-loop test
  • Own the advanced behaviors discipline — standards and validation methods
  • Conduct feasibility assessments of new opportunities and required approaches
  • Collaborate with program leads and Archer engineers to align with timelines
  • Produce technical docs, trade studies, and analysis packages for reviews

🎯 Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Computer Science, Robotics, or related field
  • Demonstrated experience developing or validating mission-level behaviors for autonomous aerospace/defense systems
  • Familiarity with behavior modeling, simulation environments, and scenario-based validation
  • Demonstrated ability to work across the full development lifecycle — concept through prototype — in a fast-paced environment
  • 8–12 years of relevant engineering experience in rapid-prototyping/advanced-programs environments
  • Must be a U.S. Person and able to obtain/maintain U.S. government security clearance
