Lead Engineer, Cybersecurity

📋 Description

• Lead a distributed security team for Forbes' corporate and web platforms.
• Own governance, policies, standards, and security documentation.
• Partner with Legal on vendor security, DPAs, and risk assessments.
• Drive PCI and other security compliance initiatives and audits.
• Oversee IAM, EDR, network, cloud, email security, and vulnerability management.
• Lead security investigations and incident response across the organization.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, CS, Information Systems, or related field.
• 7+ years in cybersecurity, incl. cloud, infra, network, or security engineering.
• Experience leading distributed/offshore security teams.
• Strong experience with IAM (SSO/MFA) and privileged access controls.
• Hands-on with enterprise firewalls, cloud networking, and CI/CD security.
• Experience with PCI audits, governance, and vendor security reviews.
