Lead Engineer - Data

📋 Description

• Lead design, architecture, and implementation of scalable data platforms and pipelines in cloud.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentor data engineering teams.
• Design, develop, optimize, and orchestrate ETL/ELT pipelines for performance and cost.
• Establish best practices for data engineering, governance, quality, security, and ops.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Drive the technical roadmap, architecture reviews, and code reviews across projects.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in data engineering, with at least 2 years in a hands-on lead role.
• Strong Python and SQL; production-grade data solutions.
• Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure) with modern data services.
• Databricks, Delta Lake, lakehouse architectures, and data lakes/warehouses.
• ETL/ELT, data modeling, orchestration, and pipeline automation.
• Streaming with Kafka or Kinesis; query and storage optimization.
