Lead Engineer - Product Catalog Team

📋 Description

• Own catalog systems: onboarding, attributes, enrichment, and validation
• Design scalable services and data models for accurate product data
• Lead cross-functional discovery to define technical roadmaps
• Mentor engineers through reviews and engineering standards
• Instrument and tune systems for reliability and performance
• Collaborate with Product, Merchandising, DS, and Ops teams

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years software engineering with impact in complex domains
• Experience building/operating large-scale production systems or data platforms
• Domain experience in catalog management, product data, or ecommerce
• Fluent in Go, Java, Ruby, Python, or similar; able to work across languages
• Proven delivery from discovery to production
• Experience with Postgres/MySQL and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) with Datadog observability
