Lead Engineer – Security Architecture

📋 Description

• Define and lead long-term security architecture for distributed storage platforms (S3-like object
• Establish secure-by-design principles across data path, control plane, orchestration, and protocol
• Secure data movement across storage tiers with encryption, integrity checks, and low-latency
• Drive security reviews, threat modeling, and SSDLC practices across platform engineering.
• Architect IAM frameworks (LDAP/AD, OIDC, SSO, MFA, federation) and enforce fine-grained access
• Lead multi-tenant isolation architectures with least privilege and policy enforcement.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/Engineering/Cybersecurity (or related).
• 12+ years in security architecture, distributed systems security, or large-scale platform
• Proven track record securing distributed storage or cloud-native infra.
• Deep understanding of data path/control plane security models; cryptography and PKI.
• Experience integrating external KMS via KMIP; IAM frameworks with SSO/MFA/federation.
• Secure API design, TLS 1.3, mTLS, signing (SigV4), and service-to-service auth.
