Lead Environmental Health & Safety Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of EHS Engineers supporting Falcon and Starship vehicle processing
• Provide direct leadership including performance management, hiring, coaching, and administrative
• Own day-to-day execution and long-term strategy for EHS programs supporting Starship manufacturing
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal (OSHA, EPA), state, and local EHS regulations, permits
• Partner with Manufacturing, Production, and Engineering teams to integrate EHS requirements into
• Conduct regular EHS audits, inspections, risk assessments, and floor assessments of production

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 6+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing, heavy industrial, or aerospace environments
• 2+ years of experience leading teams or projects within EHS
• Must be able to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to support production
• This position is on-site.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required clearances and certifications as needed
