Lead Fire Protection Engineer/Consultant

📋 Description

• Provide fire protection engineering services (life safety, alarm, smoke control).
• Develop plans, specs, and inspection reports to professional standards.
• Lead field investigations and detailed design work to resolve issues.
• Reference applicable codes and standards when responding to inquiries.
• Conduct building code analyses, egress analyses, sprinkler/hydraulic reviews.
• Manage projects: scope, schedule, budget, resources, milestones, and client interaction.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or higher.
• 5+ years of fire protection engineering experience.
• Licensed professional engineer in Texas preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication for reports and presentations.
• Must be local to the Houston, TX metro area or willing to relocate.
• Ability to travel to job sites in Texas, Colorado and surrounding states.
