Lead Fire Protection Engineer - Fire Alarm Design

📋 Description

• Design and consult on fire alarm and mass notification systems.
• Create fire alarm shop drawings and review submittal packages.
• Conduct site assessments and surveys of existing installations.
• Review drawings for code compliance (NFPA/IBC) and prepare reports.
• Develop test plans and witness testing; prepare test reports.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, AHJs; mentor junior staff.

🎯 Requirements

• NICET Level III or IV certification in Fire Alarm Systems.
• 5-10 years in fire alarm consulting, design, or inspection.
• Strong understanding of fire protection engineering principles and life safety codes.
• AutoCAD, Revit or similar design software proficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
