Lead Flight Controls & Software Engineer – Special Programs

📋 Description

• Lead flight control law design and flight dynamics for prototypes.
• Lead embedded flight control and autopilot software from architecture to test.
• Support rapid prototyping end-to-end from concept to HIL/flight test.
• Own the flight controls and software discipline across Special Programs.
• Conduct technical feasibility assessments of new opportunities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Archer teams and government stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Controls, Electrical, or Computer Eng.
• Experience in flight control law, flight dynamics, or stability analysis; 8-12 years.
• Experience developing embedded flight control or autopilot software.
• Familiarity with control design, simulation, and embedded software tools.
• Work across full lifecycle from concept to prototype in fast-paced settings.
• U.S. Person; able to obtain/maintain security clearance.
