Lead Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)

📋 Description

• Lead efforts to gather and organize program security posture info.
• Collaborate across teams to support security authorization.
• Create, monitor, and update POA&Ms status to resolve weaknesses.
• Create waivers or risk acceptance memos for risk management.
• Conduct annual assessments per DHS Security Performance Plan guidance.
• Review and update security documents annually.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of information security experience.
• Expertise in cybersecurity best practices, vulnerability mgmt, and scanning tools.
• Federal data privacy requirements and cloud security expertise.
• Certifications: Security+, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, CISSP/SSCP.
• Ability to hold and maintain a DHS Public Trust.
