Lead Materials R&D Technician (Materials Lab - Characterization)

📋 Description

• Daily assignment of work, balancing workload across the team
• Interface with area supervisor on weekly testing goals
• Train team members to advance skillset
• Enforce safety, cleanliness, and work standards in the lab
• Audit lab hazards and implement corrective actions
• Model proper lab space and equipment care

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 3+ years in aerospace testing lab performing characterization tests (DMA, TMA, DSC, TGA)
• Experience scheduling work and prioritizing tasks
• Experience leading a team or projects
• Familiarity with ASTM standard testing
• Leadership or mentoring experience
