Lead Platform Design & Integration Engineer – Special Programs

📋 Description

• Lead vehicle-level integration and configuration design for prototypes.
• Support rapid prototyping end-to-end from concept to prototype/test.
• Own the integration discipline within Special Programs—set approach, standards, and methods.
• Conduct feasibility assessments of new opportunities and required approaches.
• Collaborate with program leads and Archer teams to align approaches with timelines.
• Produce technical documentation, trade studies, and analyses for reviews.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (advanced degree a plus).
• 8–12 years of relevant engineering experience (rapid-prototyping/advanced programs).
• Experience in vehicle-level configuration design and cross-discipline integration.
• Familiarity with interface control, configuration management, and whole-vehicle trade studies.
• Ability to work across full development lifecycle—from concept through prototype—in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be a U.S. Person with ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
