Lead Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Own cloud infra end-to-end: reliability, performance, cost, observability
• Champion observability culture: dashboards, alerting and tooling for teams
• Set AI safety guardrails and security best practices for tooling
• Lead ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials security accreditations
• Own security posture: audit gaps and pragmatic improvements
• Collaborate with engineering to build a platform that helps teams move faster

🎯 Requirements

• Breadth-first mindset with ownership of a wide platform area
• Experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering
• Hands-on with AWS and/or GCP
• Deep Kubernetes knowledge; production operations
• Strong observability expertise: monitoring, alerting, tracing
• Security-focused and eager to learn; collaborates across teams
